Job summary

WM in Pasadena, TX is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor for a 1st shift (Mon-Fri 5AM-4PM onsite) with occasional Saturdays. You will supervise technicians, assign tasks, and manage daily shop operations to ensure work is completed on time and to standard.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, 4 years of relevant experience, and a valid driver's license. You will oversee training, safety compliance, reporting, and part inventory control.

Qualifications

• 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements).
• Driver's License valid upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the day-to-day operations of employees in the maintenance shop.
• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, and monitors progress and quality.
• Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests and prepares work order documents.
• Performs mechanical duties as needed.
• Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as needed.
• Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed.
• Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
• Creates and submits reports as necessary.

• Oversees personnel including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary action as needed. Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.


• Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.


• Creates and submits reports as necessary.
