Maintenance Supervisor

Transdev in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team. The Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of our diesel technician team, ensuring the timely and efficient diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of diesel vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent leadership abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with scheduling employees for the department, train and coach mechanics
• Monitor daily accident reports to establish efficient repair schedules; inspect damaged units to estimate repair costs and time required
• Establish maintenance and repair priorities based on material availability and operational requirements
• Ensure company and client equipment is maintained and operational
• Control and monitor inventory, examine worn or damaged parts, and recommend repairs or replacements
• Ensure vehicles are fueled, cleaned, and functioning properly
• Implement safety policies and procedures; maintain a safe working environment
• Maintain property, grounds, and facilities
• Perform other duties as required

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a diesel technician, with proficiency in diagnosing and repairing diesel engines and systems
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills
• Ability to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment
• Subject to DOT drug testing and physical, with adherence to DOT regulations

• Flexible work schedules as needed
• Long periods of sitting, typing, or screen time
• Work environment includes indoor and outdoor settings
