The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for leading and coordinating maintenance activities at our aerosol manufacturing facility. This role ensures the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of all production equipment, focusing on high-pressure filling lines, mechanical systems, electrical components, and compressed gas systems. The ideal candidate has a strong background in industrial maintenance, team leadership, and preventative maintenance in a regulated manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Lead and supervise the maintenance team in daily operations, prioritizing safety, efficiency, and equipment uptime.
2. Oversee troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems, especially on aerosol filling lines and support equipment.
3. Utilize CMMS to manage work orders, log activities, review maintenance emails, and track daily logs.
4. Coordinate with production to schedule maintenance, reduce downtime, and support operational goals.
5. Support equipment installations, overhauls, process improvements, and capital projects as needed.
6. Train, mentor, and support mechanics and technicians in technical and safety procedures.
7. Conduct audits on technicians and preventive maintenance effectiveness.
8. Oversee troubleshooting and preventative maintenance of aerosol production lines, compressors, HVAC, and infrastructure.
9. Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and environmental guidelines.
10. Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
11. Maintain detailed maintenance logs and equipment histories using CMMS software.
12. Collaborate with Production, Quality Assurance, and EHS teams to support manufacturing goals.
13. Source, order, and maintain inventory of critical spare parts and supplies.
14. Train and mentor maintenance staff; conduct performance evaluations and schedule coverage.
15. Respond to emergencies and off-hours issues as needed.
16. Perform other duties as assigned to support maintenance and production objectives.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or GED required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in industrial maintenance, engineering, or related field preferred.
2. Mechanical aptitude and experience in industrial maintenance.
3. Strong attention to detail for defect identification.
4. Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
5. Working knowledge of aerosol filling machinery, pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
6. Knowledge of PLCs and electrical troubleshooting is a plus.
7. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
8. Ability to read technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
9. Experience with CMMS software (eMaite) for work order management and equipment tracking.
10. Understanding of OSHA regulations, GMP, and safety standards.
11. Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office.

Compensation:

The base pay ranges from $75,000 to $95,000 annually, depending on geographic location, experience, and skills. Additional benefits and total compensation packages are available.
