As our CAS Manager, you'll be the financial backbone of our clients, ensuring their accounting needs are met seamlessly and efficiently. You'll manage client relationships, perform and oversee core bookkeeping functions, and optimize financial workflows that help businesses thrive.

Your Role Includes:

• Leading client onboarding & project management
• Managing multiple client relationships while providing top-tier financial services and proactive communication
• Performing and overseeing daily bookkeeping tasks, including bank and credit card reconciliations
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable processes across multiple client accounts
• Processing and reviewing payroll, including payroll journal entries and payroll tax filings
• Preparing and managing client budgets and cash flow forecasts
• Filing and submitting state and local sales tax returns
• Reviewing monthly financial reports and general ledger activity for accuracy and completeness
• Overseeing a small, offshore accounting team and ensuring timely completion of tasks
• Collaborating with clients, CPAs, and business owners on financial systems and compliance
• Meeting regularly with staff and the owner to manage deadlines and the monthly close process
• Overseeing 1099 preparation, report reviews, and both month- and year-end closing journal entries

What We’re Looking For:

• 10+ years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping across multiple industries
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business
• A detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset with a strong sense of accountability
• Exceptional organizational, leadership, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple clients and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
• Expertise with cloud-based accounting tools, automation, and process optimization
• Ability to attend company & client meetings quarterly in Chicago, IL
