Job summary

Reyes Fleet Management in Gardena, CA is seeking a full-time Fleet Shop Manager to lead our in-house shop operations with hands-on trailer/tractor experience. This role focuses on safety, efficiency, regulatory compliance, and cost control while guiding a team of technicians.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in fleet/shop leadership (or 8+ years with equivalent leadership) and holds a valid driver’s license with a clean DOT/OSHA record.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years in fleet/shop management or 8+ years with leadership experience
• Valid driver’s license with clean MVR per DOT/OSHA requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead in-house technicians to ensure safety, compliance, and uptime while controlling costs
• Oversee maintenance operations, parts inventory, budgeting, and regulatory standards
• Use AssetWorks to track fleet assets, schedule maintenance, and analyse data
• Produce KPI reports via PowerBI and provide data-driven insights
• Manage the fleet maintenance budget to optimize costs
• Oversee repair and preventative maintenance across the fleet
• Other duties as assigned
