Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. is seeking an experienced Mechanic Foreman to oversee the maintenance and repair of our internal fleet of vehicles and equipment in California.

This role leads shop operations, coordinates repairs, and ensures service bodies are safe, reliable, and ready to support field operations. You will supervise daily shop activities, provide technical guidance to mechanics, manage maintenance records, and coordinate parts inventory.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years as automotive or fleet mechanic, with at least one year in a lead/supervisor role.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with medium-duty fleet vehicles.
• Ability to organize shop workflow and repair priorities.
• Valid driver's license with clean record; pass drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the automotive shop.
• Diagnose, perform, and oversee repairs and preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Prioritize repair schedules to support operational and fleet availability needs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to mechanics.
• Maintain fleet maintenance records and communicate repair status to headquarters.
