Job summary

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe is seeking a Fleet Services Support Specialist to manage preventive maintenance, inspections, and repairs on tribal vehicles and equipment. You will enter maintenance data into the fleet management system, track costs, and coordinate motor pool vehicle usage.

Responsibilities include processing repair data in the Mitchell Program, monitoring fuel card usage, generating monthly reports for government departments, and ordering parts for a busy automotive shop.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, both written and verbal, and ability to maintain records accurately.
• Experience with fleet maintenance procedures and data entry into management systems.
• Familiarity with parts, equipment, and maintenance requirements for light/medium vehicles and trucks.
• Proficiency in using automated work order systems and managing documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain fleet preventive maintenance and service data; schedule inspections, repairs in the fleet management software.
• Record repairs and maintenance data in the Mitchell Program, including parts, labor hours, and costs.
• Monitor fuel card usage and update fuel records.
• Determine priority and schedule vehicles for maintenance or repair.
• Write and summarize semi-annual and annual reports; show program progress.
• Coordinate outside repairs and service for vehicles.
• Order and issue automotive parts and supplies.
• Maintain supplies, distribute equipment and gas cards.
• Maintain vehicle markings and decals.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
