Job summary

The Pascua Yaqui Tribe seeks a Lead Custodian who inspects, guides, and performs custodial and light maintenance tasks; coordinates daily functions of custodians and ensures facility cleanliness.

Responsibilities include assisting Custodian Manager with scheduling, organizing work, maintaining restrooms, floors, and general areas; requires high school diploma or GED and 3 years custodial experience; valid Arizona driver license; willingness to work non-traditional hours; Level 1 Arizona

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, plus three (3) years custodial experience.
• Must possess and maintain a valid Arizona Driver's License.
• This position will require non-traditional hours, nights, and weekends.
• Must have a Level 1 Arizona Clearance Card within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist Custodian Manager with day-to-day scheduling and inspection of custodial crew cleaning services.
• Organize, assign, and participate in custodial and light maintenance work.
• Ensure cleanliness of restrooms, basins, stools, urinals, and other sanitary facilities daily.
• Inspect and stock dispensers with paper towels, tissue and other paper products.
• Maintain outside areas by sweeping, hosing off walkways and picking up litter.
• Vacuum and clean carpet daily or as needed.
• Sweep and mop daily, wax floors, and buff with an electric buffer.
• Empty ashtrays and dust desks, chairs, and reception area daily.
• Clean walls, windows, doors, and shelves.
• Assist in moving furniture and other equipment.
• Order supplies and equipment as authorized.
• Ensure buildings are secure before leaving.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor or director.
