Job summary

Tiger Sanitation seeks a Fleet Service Writer to coordinate maintenance workflow and create Fleetio work orders for East and West Yard operations. You will ensure repairs are scheduled before technician shifts and monitor downtime to keep fleet availability high.

Responsibilities include tracking labor efficiency, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the Parts Department to keep maintenance operations running smoothly. Strong organization and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• 2 years of fleet maintenance or service writing experience required.
• Experience with Fleetio preferred.
• Experience using standard repair time systems preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and assign Fleetio work orders for East and West Yard operations.
• Review DVIRs, driver reports, inspections, and requests to identify repair needs.
• Prioritize repairs based on safety, impact, and availability.
• Ensure work orders have accurate failure descriptions, labor tasks, and parts.
• Assign work orders before technician shifts to maximize productivity.
• Monitor downtime and provide status updates to leadership and operations.
• Coordinate repair priorities and workload across maintenance locations.
• Monitor labor hours and compare with repair standards.
• Assist with planning and administrative maintenance tasks.
• Maintain repair documentation and track repeat repairs.
