Job summary

Tiger Sanitation, LLC is seeking a Fleet Service Writer to coordinate maintenance workflow, create and manage Fleetio work orders for East Yard and West Yard, and ensure repair assignments are prepared before technicians begin their shifts.

This role supports maintenance operations, tracks downtime and labor efficiency, and maintains accurate records. The position runs on 2 pm–11 pm, Monday through Friday, with every other Saturday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Two years of fleet maintenance, service writing, planning, or parts inventory experience required.
• Experience with Fleetio or similar fleet maintenance software preferred.
• Experience using standard repair time systems preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Create, manage, and assign Fleetio work orders for East Yard and West Yard.
• Review DVIRs, driver reports, and maintenance requests to identify repairs.
• Prioritize repairs based on safety, impact, and availability.
• Ensure work orders include accurate failure descriptions, tasks, and parts.
• Assign work orders before technician shift start to maximize productivity.
• Monitor downtime and report status to maintenance leadership and operations.
• Coordinate repair priorities between maintenance locations.
• Utilize standard repair times when creating work orders.
• Monitor labor hours and compare to standards.
• Provide planning and administrative support to maintenance Supervisors and lead techs.
• Support parts coverage during absences and shortages.
• Maintain repair documentation and track repeat repairs.
• Generate maintenance reports and productivity metrics.
