Job summary

Avis Budget Group is seeking a Maintenance Authorization Coordinator to review work completed and approve repairs in the Maintenance Management System. You will ensure compliance with guidelines, manage unassigned work, and optimize fleet utilization across trucks and towing equipment.

You will collaborate with Maintenance Managers and field teams to validate exceptions, negotiate pricing, and support vendor relationships. Strong data, communication, and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Three years of fleet or truck maintenance experience.
• Strong math, cost analysis, and data skills.
• Experience with tires and service is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review all work orders and approvals for compliance.
• Enter and track maintenance data in the system.
• Coordinate with vendors and providers for repairs.
• Monitor fleet downtime and return to service.
• Assist in budgeting fleet repair costs.
