Job summary

Qualifications

• 3 years background or hands on maintenance experience in fleet or truck repairs
• Working knowledge of repairs times, labor rates and cost of parts
• Experience in tire sales and service is a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills and results-driven orientation
• Ability to demonstrate urgency in fast-paced environment
• Strong math and analytical skills for cost data

Responsibilities

• Make certain inbound calls for pre-approval of maintenance are addressed within Company guidelines
• Ensure repairs are completed timely and within pre-approval guidelines
• Enter all work orders into the Maintenance Management System
• Enter accurate data and retrieve processed data
• Proof material entered and generate minor reports as required
• Respond to inquiries to resolve fleet maintenance issues
• Expedite return of vehicles to rentable status and control downtime
• Coordinate with maintenance providers to use national account programs
• Negotiate pricing for parts and labor to meet standards
• Communicate maintenance exceptions to field teams
• Suggest vendor changes in the Management System
• Support field maintenance teams with relationships to outside providers
• Coordinate fleet rotation for preventive maintenance
• Assist in salvage packaging and disposal of obsolete inventory
• Perform other duties as required
