Job summary

Reser's Fine Foods, Inc. is seeking a skilled Fleet Manager to oversee all tractors, trailers, and related equipment for the transportation department in Beaverton, Oregon.

You will hire, train, and supervise mechanics, and develop preventative maintenance schedules while ensuring DOT/OSHA compliance and cost-effective repairs. This on-site role requires strong PC skills and excellent communication to coordinate with operations and safety teams.

Qualifications

• 5+ years fleet management experience is required.
• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of basic mechanics and operation of tractor trailers and straight trucks.
• Excellent PC skills are required.
• Excellent written/verbal/interpersonal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manages all company tractors, trailers, straight trucks, and two truck shops.
• Hire, trains, and supervises mechanics.
• Develops and implements preventative maintenance schedules for all company trucks/equipment.
• Manages 100 straight trucks and 180 tractor trailers.
• Coordinates and prioritizes cost effective truck/equipment repair.
• Ensures with DOT, OSHA, and safety compliance, record keeping and reporting.
• Maintenance and reporting of fleet costs.
• Manages acquisitions and disposal processes.
