Job summary

Omni-Serv seeks an Operations Coordinator for its fleet maintenance division. You will act as the liaison between technicians and management to keep the shop running smoothly, coordinating assignments, tracking work orders, and ensuring safety standards are met.

Responsibilities include scheduling, inventory tracking, and communication with customers. The role may involve assisting with airport operations and maintaining a productive work environment.

Qualifications

• Requires vocational training in automotive repair or similar field.
• Strong communication and leadership skills are essential for coordinating between technicians and management.
• Experience in a mechanic shop or fleet maintenance environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for technicians regarding workflow and equipment issues.
• Coordinate job assignments in collaboration with the shop manager or lead mechanic.
• Monitor adherence to safety protocols and report hazards or violations.
• Maintain organized work areas and stock of tools and parts.
• Enter daily work orders into fleet maintenance software and verify parts orders against customer work orders.
• Schedule fleet maintenance services and assist with inventory tracking.
• Support airport operations by escorting vehicles and handling parts movement.
• Foster a positive, productive work environment.
