Amerit Fleet Solutions in Hagerstown, MD is seeking a skilled Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead a team of technicians and mechanics in a proactive preventive maintenance program for large/heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety and efficiency.

The ideal candidate has hands-on technician experience, 5–8 years of management, and familiarity with DOT rules. This full-time role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, competitive salary, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least 2 years' industry experience in fleet maintenance or operations.
• 5–8 years of direct management experience.
• Prior technician/mechanic experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with heavy truck / trailer repair and maintenance.
• Must be able to travel as needed; overseeing multiple shop locations.
• Thorough knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.
• Proven leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication; documentation and coordination.
• Strong computer skills with Word, Excel, Fleet Management systems and exposure to ERP/timekeeping.

Responsibilities
