Job summary

Universal Logistics Holdings in Michigan seeks a Manager of Maintenance to lead a fleet maintenance team and ensure reliable, compliant operations across our transportation network. You will oversee 10-15 maintenance staff, coordinate repairs, manage schedule and mileage, and drive cost control and safety performance.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, DOT compliance knowledge, and excellent organization and negotiation skills to keep maintenance on track and within budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Maintenance, Logistics, Supply Chain or Business preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of regulations, laws, and DOT compliance.
• Multitasking, organization, and attention to detail.
• Strong negotiating skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of 10-15 maintenance employees.
• Coordinate routine maintenance and repairs.
• Schedule truck usage and mileage.
