GFL Environmental Inc. is seeking a maintenance leader to oversee the branch maintenance program and coordinate repair work to keep equipment and vehicles safe and operational.

You will supervise maintenance staff, establish preventive maintenance, and work closely with operations to ensure timely service and safety compliance. Competitive salary $85,000–$95,000 with a 20% bonus eligibility and robust benefits are offered.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required.
• DOT certification for air brake inspection and Annual Vehicle Inspections.
• CDL license within 6 months of hire.
• Prior supervisory experience in a shop or maintenance setting preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee maintenance staff and satellite shop facilities.
• Supervise all maintenance department employees through planning and directing work.
• Repair vehicles and equipment and follow up on repairs.
• Establish a preventative maintenance program to ensure safe operability.
• Maintain inspection, maintenance and safety records per regulations.
• Ensure shop adheres to safety standards and company policies.
• Coordinate with Operations to release equipment for inspections/repairs.
• Schedule safety meetings and document attendees and topics.
• Maintain inventory and authorize purchases up to $750; higher requires Branch Manager.
• Oversee shop facility appearance and grounds maintenance.
• Track fuel use and compile monthly fuel reports.
• Monitor expenses across product lines and review work orders daily.
• Recruit, interview, hire and train shop personnel.
• Ensure compliance with laws and company directives.
• Perform other duties as required.
