Job summary

The role involves supervising in the absence of leadership, maintaining records, and coordinating preventive maintenance across fleets. The candidate should hold a CDL with DOT certification, have at least two years of heavy truck repair experience, and be committed to safety and training requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• CDL required and DOT certification completed.
• Two years of heavy truck repair experience.
• Must complete all company training and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment using standard industry methods.
• Maintain vehicle maintenance records.
• Schedule and complete preventive maintenance per guidelines and regulations.
• Keep the work area clean and safe in the shop.
• Review DVIR reports and perform needed repairs.
• Provide accurate labor hours for each product line.
• Diagnose and repair operational issues with vehicles and equipment.
• Maintain and repair heavy diesel, gas and electric equipment.
• Complete reports, work orders, order parts and perform admin duties.
• Assist in reviewing mechanical write-ups and scheduling repairs.
• Ensure safety compliance and use of tools.
• Operate necessary vehicles, equipment, and tools; maintain safety practices.
• Keep up to date with technology via manuals and training.
• Attend safety and branch meetings.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
