Job summary

Peninsula-Truck-Lines,-Inc.-1 in Oregon is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee all fleet maintenance for tractors, trailers, and shop equipment. You will plan schedules, manage vendors, and ensure DOT compliance while leading a dedicated maintenance team.

You will drive data-based maintenance using telematics and PM programs, track costs per mile, and work with operations to minimize downtime and maximize asset lifespan.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of diesel/heavy truck or fleet maintenance experience.
• 5+ years in supervisory or management roles.
• Knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations and documentation.
• Proficient with maintenance management software.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Technical certification or degree in diesel technology or related field.
• CDL license is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee preventive maintenance schedules and repairs for tractors and trailers.
• Ensure DOT, OSHA and company safety compliance.
• Lead maintenance team, schedule work and set performance expectations.
• Track records, warranties, recalls and compliance documentation.
• Leverage telematics and diagnostics for proactive maintenance.
• Manage budgets, inventory and parts usage to minimize waste.
• Coordinate with operations to minimize downtime and maximize asset lifecycle.
