Job summary

Waste Pro is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Manager to lead the division's maintenance staff and oversee fleet support and maintenance processes for vehicles and equipment. You will coordinate with Regional Maintenance Manager and Operations to ensure reliability, safety and cost-effective performance. A minimum of 15+ years in fleet management and a High School diploma are required, with strong data and maintenance software skills.

Qualifications

• A High School diploma is required.
• Requires 15+ years of progressive hands-on fleet management experience.
• Strong project management, resource planning, and communication skills.
• Specialized understanding of maintenance procedures and industry regulations (EPA, DOT, OSHA).

Responsibilities

• Manages hiring, training, coaching, performance management and scheduling.
• Maintains preventive/corrective maintenance programs and service standards.
• Reviews reports on road calls, breakdowns, parts inventory, repairs, and safety.
• Provides hands-on maintenance assistance as needed and educates drivers on DVIRs and CDL basics.
• Ensures maintenance data is input in the vehicle maintenance system and compliance with regulations.
• Establishes training sessions to improve fleet condition and driver knowledge.
