Republic Services is seeking a Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to lead a maintenance shop responsible for preventive maintenance and repairs on heavy equipment, including trucks and containers. You will supervise technicians, ensure safety and regulatory compliance, and optimize shop performance at our Massillon operation in Ohio.
The role requires 3 years in heavy equipment maintenance and at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity, with ASE certifications valued.
Formación
- 3 years of experience in maintenance working with heavy equipment.
- 1 year of supervisory experience in a lead technician role, supervisor or other management role requiring knowledge of safe working practices, DOT, OSHA and other regulations.
Responsabilidades
- Provide direction to technicians to ensure repairs/maintenance are safe, efficient and timely.
- Monitor performance and suggest process improvements.
- Conduct training, performance evaluations and corrective actions as needed.
- Oversee inventory control and budget compliance.
- Perform advanced diagnostics and road tests when needed.
- Maintain knowledge of engine, emission, and electrical systems to perform preventive and repair maintenance.
