Hagar Enterprises, Inc. is seeking an experienced Shop Foreman to lead maintenance operations for our fleet of trucks and heavy equipment. You will supervise diesel mechanics, ensure safety, and keep the shop organized and productive.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and welding, plus the ability to manage parts, schedules, and repairs while coordinating with field crews.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; diesel tech preferred.
• Proven experience as heavy equipment/diesel mechanic with leadership.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and welding.
• Ability to pass a drug screening where required by regulations.
• Strong organizational skills and commitment to safety.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and work in a hands-on shop environment.

Responsibilities

• Fleet & Equipment Oversight: Manage preventative maintenance and repairs of our fleet and machinery.
• Team Leadership: Supervise diesel mechanics and shop personnel, assign work orders, and provide technical guidance.
• Shop Management: Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient shop environment with proper tool usage and compliance.
• Parts & Inventory Control: Coordinate parts ordering and track maintenance records for assets.
• Cross-Functional Support: Collaborate with project foremen to minimize downtime and troubleshoot field breakdowns.
