Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. in California is seeking an experienced Mechanic Foreman to oversee the maintenance and repair of our internal fleet of vehicles and equipment.

You will lead the automotive shop and coordinate repairs to keep service bodies safe, reliable, and ready to support field operations. This role emphasizes hands-on leadership, scheduling, documentation, and ensuring compliance with safety policies.

Qualifications

• Five or more years as automotive or fleet mechanic, including one year in lead/supervisor role.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with medium-duty fleet vehicles.
• Ability to organize shop workflow and manage repair priorities.
• Must pass pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the automotive shop.
• Diagnose, perform, and oversee repairs and preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Prioritize repair schedules to support operational and fleet availability needs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to mechanics.
• Maintain fleet maintenance records and communicate repair status to headquarters.
