Job summary

MV Transportation is seeking a Shop Foreman to manage all maintenance aspects during shift, including preventive maintenance and repairs for the fleet. The role supervises maintenance and utility staff, ensures contractual commitments, and handles daily to annual reporting, while coordinating with the Fleet Manager to run day-to-day operations.

The ideal candidate has strong diesel repair skills, experience with air conditioning, electrical systems and wheelchair lifts, with ASE certification

Qualifications

• Prioritize, implement and manage work schedules and assignments.
• Track and control parts inventories, vendors and suppliers.
• Manage financial aspects of a fleet maintenance operation.
• Communicate effectively with all staff levels in writing and speaking.

Responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance operations during shift, including preventive maintenance and repairs.
• Supervise maintenance and utility staff and ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Perform daily, weekly, monthly and annual reporting for the maintenance program.
