Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. seeks an experienced Mechanic Foreman to oversee the maintenance and repair of our internal fleet of vehicles and equipment in California. You will lead shop operations, coordinate repairs, and ensure service bodies remain safe, reliable, and ready to support field operations.

This internal role focuses on fleet management, repair oversight, and maintaining high mechanical standards, with responsibilities including field repair visits as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five years of recent and relevant experience as an automotive or fleet mechanic, including one year in lead or supervisor role.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with medium-duty fleet vehicles.
• Ability to organize shop workflow and manage repair priorities.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and an insurable driving record with fewer than two points within the past five years.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities within the automotive shop.
• Diagnose, perform, and oversee repairs and preventative maintenance on company vehicles and equipment.
• Prioritize repair schedules to support operational and fleet availability needs.
• Provide technical guidance and support to mechanics.
• Maintain fleet maintenance records and documentation while reporting to headquarters.
