Job summary

Albertsons Companies in Tracy, CA is seeking a Mechanic Foreman to supervise daily tractor trailer repair and maintenance, ensuring safety and compliance with DOT/OHSA regulations. You will coordinate shop workflow, assign tasks to mechanics, monitor tire work, and maintain equipment and parts inventory.

The role requires background in heavy truck/HVAC tech with CDL like credentials and experience with diagnostic tools.

Qualifications

• Perform Preventive Maintenance, diagnostic/troubleshooting and repairs on reefers using hand & power tools and diagnostic equipment and software in a shop and field environment.
• Identify warrantable repairs and document as needed.
• Ability to obtain ASE certification in heavy truck.

Responsibilities

• Organize shop workflow from asset intake to exit.
• Assign work items to mechanics and monitor timely completion.
• Ensure safety, sanitation and proper waste disposal procedures.
