Job summary

Coastal Elite Pro seeks a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis, hydraulic and electrical systems, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, and steering. You will also handle basic tire work and provide road service when needed.

The role may involve on-site and field work, with responsibilities for preventive maintenance, diagnostics of multi-system issues, and ensuring equipment safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience or recent technical school graduation.
• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues.
• Basic understanding of work order standards.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of light/medium and heavy-duty trucks; ASE certifications and CDL are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of vehicle systems and perform preventive and repair maintenance.
• Conduct line welding and fabrication as needed.
• Diagnose malfunctions with electronic tools.
• Complete required training programs.
• Work on-site or on the road to ensure safety and efficiency.

A Maintenance Technician B performs repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic and electrical systems, engines, HVAC, suspension, drivetrain, and steering. They also handle basic tire work and provide road service when needed.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain knowledge of vehicle systems, perform preventative and repair maintenance, conduct line welding and fabrication, diagnose malfunctions using electronic tools, and complete training programs. They may work on-site or on the road, ensuring equipment safety and efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills:

3-5 years of experience or recent technical school graduation, ability to diagnose multi-system issues, basic understanding of work order standards, valid driver’s license, and knowledge of light/medium and heavy-duty trucks. ASE certifications and CDL are pluses.
