Keep Drivers Moving: Coordinate emergency roadside repairs and maintenance services for heavy-duty trucks and specialized transportation equipment.
Be the Problem Solver: Communicate with drivers, mechanics, vendors, and internal teams to resolve mechanical issues and minimize downtime.
Coordinate Repairs: Arrange maintenance services, follow up on repair progress, and ensure equipment gets back on the road safely and efficiently.
Support the Team: Work closely with operations and terminal personnel to coordinate solutions when equipment breaks down.
Help Drivers Along the Way: Assist with transportation and lodging arrangements when unexpected breakdowns occur.
Stay Organized: Maintain accurate records of repairs, service updates, and maintenance activities.
Keep Everyone Informed: Provide detailed updates to drivers, maintenance teams, and incoming shifts to ensure a smooth transition of ongoing repairs.
Make an Impact: Identify opportunities to improve processes, communication, and overall fleet efficiency.
We’re looking for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, communicates well, and can think on their feet when challenges arise.
Ideal qualifications include:
Experience working with heavy-duty trucks, diesel equipment, fleet maintenance, or coordinating vehicle repairs.
Strong understanding of truck mechanical systems, particularly hydraulic systems.
At least one year of relevant experience is preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot problems and make decisions under pressure.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Comfortable working with drivers, mechanics, vendors, and operations personnel.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn maintenance management software.
High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school experience is a plus.
A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and team-first mentality.
Experience as a Diesel Technician, Fleet Maintenance Coordinator, Truck Service Advisor, Roadside Assistance Coordinator, or Maintenance Dispatcher could translate well into this opportunity!
