City of Wylie, Texas seeks a qualified Support Services Coordinator to oversee the logistics division within the Fire Department, directing administrative and coordination tasks.

The role includes leading fleet and equipment management, budgeting, procurement, vendor relations, inventory control, and interdepartmental liaison to ensure efficient emergency services operations, staff supervision, and adherence to public safety objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Business, Public Administration or Emergency Services plus 4+ years fleet/logistics experience.
• Or two years of vocational/technical training with four years related experience.
• Must have at least 2 years supervisory experience.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be 18+ and hold a valid Texas Class C driver’s license.

Responsabilités

• Plan, organize, and lead the logistics division.
• Prepare monthly and annual reports.
• Oversee annual logistics budget.
• Develop fleet management program and assess equipment.
• Coordinate procurement, vendor relationships, and purchasing.
• Maintain inventory, PPE, SCBA, and related assets.
• Coordinate repairs and maintenance with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with city policies.
• Support services liaison to staff and executives.
