Job summary

Quantix SCS LLC is seeking a Dispatcher to oversee a truck-driver fleet, ensuring safety, efficiency, and policy compliance. The role demands strong communication and proactive problem-solving to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

You will assign routes, monitor deliveries, and coordinate with service teams while maintaining accurate logs and ensuring DOT compliance. This position emphasizes safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement of fleet performance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years of dispatching or related experience.
• Strong communication and multitasking skills.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Assign and schedule drivers to routes based on requirements and availability.
• Communicate with drivers to provide instructions and updates.
• Monitor and track delivery progress and address issues or delays.
• Maintain records of driver logs, delivery times, and routes.
• Collaborate with customer service to resolve delivery inquiries.
• Ensure compliance with safety and DOT regulations.
• Analyze and optimize route efficiency to reduce costs.
• Coordinate vehicle maintenance to minimize downtime.
• Analyze fleet performance metrics to improve operations.
• Enforce safety protocols and conduct safety meetings and training.
• Address and resolve HOS or safety-related issues promptly.
