Qualifications

• Experience in dispatch, logistics coordination, or fleet operations.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, Hours of Service, and transportation safety requirements.
• Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills with accuracy and timeliness.

Responsibilities

• Operational Leadership and Performance: Manage dispatch activities, coordinate freight movement, and maintain clear driver communication to ensure safety and on-time performance.
• Team Leadership and Development: Partner with fleet managers to support driver communication and promote operational consistency across shifts.
• Customer and Internal Communication: Maintain open, timely communication with drivers, internal departments, and customer teams.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure DOT and Hours of Service compliance; report safety or compliance concerns promptly.
• Performance Monitoring and Analysis: Track load status, driver availability, and service metrics; identify and communicate issues.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate with planning, maintenance, and customer service to resolve challenges.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify recurring issues and suggest process or communication improvements.
• Availability: Maintain flexibility to support 24/7 operations and off-hours coverage.
• Accountability and Reliability: Maintain attendance and support team and business needs.
