Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC seeks a dedicated Dispatcher to lead transportation operations, coordinating truck drivers and scheduling daily routes. You will communicate with clients, drivers, mechanics, and internal teams to keep on-time deliveries and safety standards.

Responsibilities include maintaining DOT permitting, driver logs, and coordination with maintenance, plus recruiting and payroll oversight. A strong focus on safety, compliance and customer service is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma/GED required.
• 2+ years managing, leading and developing direct reports.
• 2+ years relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or related field.
• Strong understanding of transportation logistics, including routing, scheduling, and carrier management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in Environmental/Industrial waste hauling preferred.
• Proficient understanding of DOT regulations and Hours of Service regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily scheduling of trucks and drivers, ensuring timely, compliant transportation.
• Maintain high-volume communication with clients, drivers, mechanics and internal teams regarding delays, changes, or repairs.
• Handle DOT permitting, registrations, tolling accounts, and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor driver logs and hours of service; coordinate maintenance and inspections.
• Oversee driver payroll processes and payroll-related tasks; support billing and accounts as needed.
• Recruit drivers and participate in interviewing to maintain staffing levels.
• Track KPIs and prepare regular reports for leadership; manage vendor and carrier relationships.
