Job summary

Reworld is seeking a dedicated Dispatcher to lead a transportation team and coordinate daily truck driver operations in a fast-paced setting. You will interface with multiple managers and stakeholders to ensure on-time material transport and adherence to DOT requirements.

Responsibilities include driver scheduling, maintenance coordination, payroll oversight, and collaboration with sales and customers on transportation needs. A strong focus on safety, efficiency, and service quality is essential.

Qualifications

• Two years or more managing, leading and developing direct reports.
• Two years or more relevant experience in supply chain, logistics, warehouse or industry-related field.
• Strong understanding of transportation logistics, including routing, scheduling, and carrier management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the coordination of daily scheduling of trucks and drivers for timely transportation of materials.
• Maintain high-volume communication with clients, drivers, and mechanics regarding delays, changes, rerouting and repairs.
• Monitor drivers' logs and hours of service; ensure DOT compliance and inspections.
• Coordinate with mechanics and vendors for preventive maintenance and DOT inspections.
• Oversee driver payroll and collaborate with administration on billing and transportation tasks.
• Lead and train a transportation team, conducting performance reviews and KPI tracking.
