Job summary

Waste Pro USA is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate with drivers, respond to service orders, schedule routes, and resolve issues to maintain efficient daily operations.

The ideal candidate will balance cost and speed, maintain clear communication with driver teams, and ensure accurate data entry for daily routing and tickets. This role requires attention to detail and strong teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse/field environment.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with routing or dispatching is a plus.
• Comfort with data entry and basic software systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain contact between drivers and home base; dispatch drivers to calls as received, balancing needs and loads.
• Assign routes and service tickets to drivers, close tickets daily.
• Plan, monitor, and follow-up daily route assignments for residential, roll-off and commercial drivers.
• Troubleshoot delivery and pickup issues; communicate with drivers and customers to ensure satisfaction.
• Answer calls from Customer Service and provide requested route information; coordinate with Sales and Drivers.
• Record and update driver, truck, and route data in Tower and Trackese; close past day work orders.
• Print and review productivity reports for route supervisors daily.
• Distribute and maintain driver phones/radios and manage software updates.
• Attend training courses and stay current with Waste Pro technologies and practices.
