Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience.
• Experience: 1-2 years in Transportation, dispatching, terminal assistant, customer service or related.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of DOT rules and regulations required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate timely pickup and delivery of orders while maintaining customer expectations.
• Direct and schedule drivers' work; notify assignments to maximize efficiency.
• Identify and resolve daily service and scheduling issues; communicate with customers.
• Monitor drivers' hours of service to prevent DOT violations.
• Update driver and dispatch information in real time in the dispatch system.
• Promote safety in all areas of dispatch.
