Job summary

EnergySolutions, based in Oak Ridge, TN, seeks an experienced Transportation Supervisor to manage dispatching, routing, and driver supervision. You will coordinate overweight/overdimensional shipments, ensure regulatory compliance, and optimize load efficiency while collaborating with customers and accounting for accurate billing.

The role requires leadership of 15–30 drivers, strong U.S. geography knowledge, and familiarity with DOT rules and HOS.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience is required.
• Minimum of 7 years experience in the transportation industry.
• Prior management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches loads and drivers in a cost-effective manner.
• Supervises 15-30 drivers/owner operators and provides hire/fire recommendations.
• Plans routes and dispatches using fleet software.
• Coordinates overweight/overdimensional shipments with authorities.
• Reviews and approves vendor invoices and ensures correct billing.
• Maximizes load efficiencies and supports driver performance.
