Job summary

ITS: International Transportation Services in El Paso, TX, seeks a truck dispatcher/Driver Manager to oversee driver performance, ensure on-time delivery, and enforce DOT, FMCSA, and safety policies. You will serve as the liaison between drivers and office staff and optimize use of Samsara E-Logs and related systems.

The role requires dispatch experience, fleet management of 20-30 trucks, proficiency with Microsoft Office, and familiarity with Mcleod and Samsara.

Qualifications

Dispatch experience is required.
Experience managing a fleet of 20–30 truck/driver outfit.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook).
Experience in Mcleod and Samsara.
Familiar with Hours-of-Service regulations, DOT regulations, and OSHA.
Ability to calculate transit times.

Responsibilities

Monitor and manage driver time to meet pickup and delivery timelines.
Improve driver e-log/Samsara utilization and accuracy of time off, HOS, and movements.
Ensure safety compliance and participate in safety campaigns.
Coordinate with drivers, staff and management to resolve issues.
Maintain records of expenditures and government rules.
Communicate with safety and log audit departments.
