Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in trucking dispatch, logistics, or fleet operations.
• Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of transportation operations, routing, and load planning.
• Familiarity with TMS systems, ELD platforms, and dispatch software.
• Working knowledge of DOT regulations and Hours of Service requirements.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of dispatchers to ensure high performance.
• Oversee daily load planning, routing, and scheduling to optimize equipment and driver utilization.
• Ensure on-time pickups and deliveries and quick customer email responses.
• Support driver retention through effective communication and relationship management.
• Collaborate with safety on driver training and road tests.
• Monitor KPIs like on-time performance, empty miles, and driver productivity.
• Identify process improvements to increase efficiency.
