Qualifications

• 2 years of transportation experience is required.
• Computer skills including AS400, Excel and Word are expected.

Responsibilities

• Load planning and execution.
• Ensure DOT safety rules and hours of service are followed.
• Facilitate driver home time needs and requirements.
• Communicate all customer requirements.
• Manage drivers for on-time deliveries.
• Process drivers load information and paperwork for payroll and billing.
• Update billing requirements.
• Process lumper requests.
• Route and guide drivers on approved roads.
• Update directions on customers loads.
• Equipment management and maintenance coordination.
• Maximize company asset utilization.
• Manage driver and customer retention.
• Direct drivers to approved fuelling locations and manage Comdata fuel card maintenance.
• Manage cash advances for road expenses as needed.
