Job summary

Action Resources is seeking a Dispatcher to grow a profitable chemical and waste transportation operation. You will coordinate and manage loads to remain cost effective, support drivers, and collaborate with Terminal Managers to boost fleet productivity.

You will focus on safety, service, revenue, and assets, handle escalations, and drive continuous process improvements. A bachelor’s in transportation or equivalent experience and knowledge of TMW/McLeod will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in transportation field preferred.
• Experience in the transportation industry preferred.
• Familiar with Transportation Management Software (ie: TMW, McLeod).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage loads to maximize cost efficiency.
• Support drivers across all markets with focus on assigned markets.
• Interact with customers and drivers to ensure quality service.
• Manage daily terminal activities and data entry.
• Handle escalations and time-critical issues.
• Drive process improvements and change initiatives.
