Republic Services is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to perform maintenance and repairs on company vehicles and equipment at Industrial Services sites. You will handle tasks from brake work to alignments, inspect safety devices, and perform on-site repairs as required in a fast-paced environment.

Applicants should have 1–2 years of hands-on diesel experience, a valid CDL (A or B) with tanker endorsement preferred, and the ability to lift up to 75 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years hands-on experience as a Diesel Mechanic.
• Experience in a fast-paced work environment.
• CDL (A or B) with tanker endorsement, preferred.
• Technical skills are preferred due to the use of sophisticated diagnostic equipment.
• Must be able to lift and move 75 pounds repeatedly.

Responsabilités

• Perform maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with company protocols and standards (brake pads, rotors, alignments, etc.).
• Examine guards, loose bolts, and safety devices on trucks and adjust as needed.
• Operate shop equipment and perform on-site and on-road repairs as needed.
• Review Driver Pre-trip and Post-trip inspection reports and sign off on repairs.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies.
