Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python with production-quality tools
• Strong SQL for querying relational data
• Experience with C++ and TypeScript, or ability to ramp up
• Database expertise with PostgreSQL and SQLite
• Experience with Databricks for large-scale processing
• Experience building metrics or reporting pipelines
• Proficiency with Git and GitHub
• Familiarity with JIRA for task tracking
• Solid CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, system design
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, or related field

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Python-based tools for fleet data-collection planning and the data-readiness pipeline
• Build internal tooling to automate route prioritization, data-collection run setup, asset tracking, and data ingestion, validation, and release workflows
• Develop fleet and data-collection metrics and surface them in live dashboards
• Contribute to map tooling that leverage simulation and topology evaluation to validate mapping updates
• Manage relational and spatial databases, ensuring data integrity, performance, and scalability
• Leverage AWS cloud services and Databricks to build scalable data pipelines and analytics infrastructure
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Fleet Operations, Mapping, Perception, Localization, and Data Annotation
• Participate in agile ceremonies and cross-team syncs
• Contribute to code reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing
• Identify and address technical debt, performance bottlenecks, and reliability gaps
