Job summary

Daimler Truck Financial Services in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Fleet Credit Analyst to evaluate credit risk for fleet borrowers with balances over $1.25M and to support profitable credit strategies across DTFS. You will analyze financial statements, discuss recommendations with credit authorities, and collaborate with Sales, Dealer Credit, and other DTFS teams.

Hybrid schedule (4 days in-office, 1 day remote).

Qualifications

• BS/BA with 2–4 years of relevant experience or 6 years in lieu of degree.
• 2 years experience in a general business field.
• 1 year experience working with credit.
• Proficiency with MS Suite (Outlook and Excel).
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Analyze the financial condition for Fleet borrowers with DTFS outstanding balances exceeding $1.25MM or requesting a line of credit.
• Perform timely reviews of Fleet borrowers with outstanding balances over $1MM.
• Present sound recommendations to Approving Authorities for out-of-limit files.
• Build positive relations with District Finance Managers on buying strategies to ensure credit risk and returns.
• Participate in joint Sales calls and Customer/Dealer visits as needed.
• Understand all Fleet related Legal documentation to remain compliant with DTFS.
• Ensure compliance with Local and Global Credit Rules.
• Assist in training other fleet collectors and in department projects.
