ContainerPort Group, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Coordinator for our Norfolk, VA terminal to manage local customer experiences and support operations.

You will act as the liaison between terminal operations and the customer-facing team, ensuring timely communications and service quality across the network. The role requires solid organizational skills, clear communication, and the ability to handle high volumes of inquiries via email, phone, and messaging.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• College Degree preferred.
• 1+ year trucking industry experience preferred.
• Highly organized with great communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with high email/phone/messaging volume.
• Computer skills: Microsoft Office and familiarity with Transportation Management Systems.

Responsibilities

• Communicating quote rates and service capabilities.
• Processing orders as they arrive.
• Providing shipment status updates and alternative solutions when needed.
• Gathering feedback and identifying trends to improve the customer experience.
• Entering time-sensitive order information into computer systems.
• Responding quickly to questions and requests to exceed customer expectations.
• Maintaining accurate customer location and contact information in systems.
• Performing other duties as requested.
