Job summary

Zipcar is looking for a Fleet Coordinator in San Francisco to guide field teams and manage vehicle readiness for rental. You will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to keep vehicles on time, clean, and in good condition for members.

You’ll update the work management platform daily with ETAs, repair notes, and ticket closures, while coordinating with ABG partners for onboarding and branding, and planning disposal of de-fleet units.

Qualifications

• Strong relationship building skills.
• Experience working with third party vendors.
• Experience with on-line ticket based work-flows (preferred).
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
• Background working with fleet or logistics is preferred.

Job description

As Fleet Coordinator, you will use technology to guide your team in the field to ensure our fleet of vehicles are ready for our members. Vehicles should be clean, in good condition, and ready to drive - this all depends on you. You will work internally with your team as well as externally with our various vendors to keep everyone on time, organized, and where they need to be.

What You'll Do:

• Coordinating the repair life cycle of our vehicles from the time they require repair to the time they go back on the grid for rent. This includes working with ABG supply chain partners, third party maintenance vendors, third party shuttling companies, towing vendors, and impound recovery facilities

• Updating Zipcar's platform (work management system) daily with ETA’s of when vehicles will be complete, any pertinent notes to the repair process, and closing out the ticket loop once complete.

• Securing in-fleets units from ABG — which includes requesting units, branding, key tethering, and up-kitting

• Scheduling de-fleets units for disposal

The hourly rate for this position is $23/hour. Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
