Job summary
Barton Ford in Suffolk, VA is seeking a Commercial Sales Consultant to identify, consult and sell vehicles to fleet and commercial account customers. This B2B role builds relationships with local government agencies to drive vehicle purchase programs and create an exceptional buying experience that fosters loyalty and referrals.
The ideal candidate has outside B2B sales experience, strong communication, and the ability to work long hours, including evenings.
Qualifications
- Proven ability to provide an exceptional customer experience.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to set and achieve targeted goals.
- Outside/B2B sales experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop prospects for commercial/fleet business.
- Cold-call prospects to build relationships and determine vehicle needs.
- Follow-up on prospects to develop commercial/fleet accounts.
- Use consultative selling to match best vehicle to customer needs.
- Create a great vehicle delivery experience for customers.
- Transition customers to service for ongoing ownership support.
- Meet or exceed targeted sales goals.
- Gain product knowledge to assist customers effectively.
