Job summary

Hussmann is seeking a Branch Operations Fleet Manager to lead strategic direction and governance of the company’s fleet operations. This role oversees a Fleet Analyst and serves as the primary liaison between branches, fleet partners, and vendors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in fleet management, transportation, or logistics.
• Experience leading people and managing vendor relationships.
• Strong budgeting, forecasting, and cost control background.
• Experience with fleet management systems and telematics.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a Fleet Analyst, with clear roles and performance expectations.
• Own fleet strategy, spend control, lifecycle management, and optimization.
• Collaborate with EHS/Safety/Risk, HR, and legal to align needs.
• Oversee daily fleet activities, vehicle assignments, and telematics.
• Manage vendor relations, SLAs, contracts, and cost savings initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and audit requirements.
• Develop reporting cadence and analyze KPIs for improvements.
