Job summary

UPS is seeking a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. The technician will maintain delivery vehicles, heavy-duty on-road tractors, and trailers, working with diesel and gasoline propulsion systems.

Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including various schedule options. The starting pay rate is $40.52/hr with comprehensive benefits and weekly pay.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scan tools and PC.
• Own full set of hand tools.
• Class A/B or CDL-A preferred.
• Willing to work varying shifts and overtime as needed.
• Wears personal protective equipment as required.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements for the job.Bends, stoops, and climbs as needed throughout the day.
• Operates standard and manual transmission vehicles and tools.
• Performs maintenance on vehicles and trailers from various manufacturers.
