Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. seeks a reliable Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will maintain delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers, troubleshooting the propulsion systems and hydraulic brakes.

The role requires an active U.S. driver's license, willingness to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, and the ability to use diagnostic tools and possess a personal tool set. UPS offers extensive training and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Current documented automotive mechanical experience.
• Experience using diagnostic equipment, scantools and personal computer.
• Possesses full complement of personal hand tools.
• Class A/B or A CDL - Preferred.
• Dependable with regular and timely attendance; flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Meets D.O.T requirements as assigned.
• Operate vehicles including delivery trucks and heavy-duty tractors.
• Use standard and power tools to perform maintenance.
• Maintain suites of hydraulic brakes, electrical systems and engine controls.
• Report to work as scheduled and support varying shifts.
