Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our fleet maintenance team. You will service a diverse range of vehicles including delivery trucks and heavy equipment, handling diesel, gasoline, and alternative propulsion systems where applicable.

The role requires diagnosing hydraulic and electrical systems, adhering to DOT requirements, and working various shifts. A valid driver's license and own toolset are essential, with CDL preferred or obtainable within 6

Qualifications

• Active driver's license issued by the state
• Willing to work 2nd or 3rd shifts, including various schedules
• Must possess the required hand tools
• Current automotive mechanical experience
• Experience using diagnostic equipment/scanners
• CDL Class A/B preferred or willing to obtain within 6 months
• Reliable with ability to report to work regularly and complete shifts
• Able to lift 70 lbs (32 kg)
• Work in varied temperatures and environments
• Communicate effectively to perform tasks safely

Responsibilities

• Maintain a diverse fleet, including delivery vehicles, heavy-duty tractors, and trailers
• Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic brakes, air brakes, electrical systems, and engine controls
• Meet DOT requirements for the job assignment
• Operate standard/manual transmissions and power tools
